Concept map on OPERATION BARBAROSSA. The Operation Barbarossa is the military attack of Nazi Germany against the USSR (Russia) during World War II. The Operation began in the summer of 1942, when Hitler was at the height of his expansionist success during the Second World War.
The Operation Barbarossa also received support from Italy of Mussolini, which, amidst enemy fire, hunger, and the frost of the steppe, cost the lives of over 75,000 Italians.
