Conceptual map on REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENTS. The revolutionary movements in Europe began as a response to the Restoration made at the Congress of Vienna in 1814. The revolutionary movements occurred several times: 1820-1821, 1830-1831 and 1848. Although these movements were largely suppressed, they opened up hope and new prospects for the subjugated populations.
