PERIODS OF HISTORY
Concept map on the periods of History, useful as a summary and study guide for reviewing the main divisions of historical time. The map begins with Prehistory, from the appearance of humans, and presents the main periods: Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic and Metal Ages. It then explains the transition from Prehistory to History with the invention of writing, around 3000 BC. The map presents the four main historical periods: Ancient History, Middle Ages, Modern History and Contemporary History, with the main transition dates, from the fall of the Western Roman Empire to the French Revolution and up to the present day.
